Akaash Travel LTD is seeking motivated and dependable drivers to become part of our team, assisting in the transportation of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to and from school. Whether you are a driver of a Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) or a Hackney Carriage Vehicle (HCV), we have an ideal position available for you.

If you possess your own taxi vehicle and wish to engage in a meaningful opportunity, the PHV/HCV Driver position is ideal for you. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting SEND children using either your licensed taxi or one provided by the company. Your primary focus will be to ensure their safety and comfort, facilitating a smooth and pleasant journey.

Requirements for this position include: 

- Ownership of a taxi vehicle, or the option for the company to supply one. 

- Proficiency in the English language. 

- A friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with children and their parents. 

- A valid DBS certificate and completion of training prior to employment. 

- Eligibility to work in the UK. 

Compensation will be provided upon the successful completion of tasks, which typically involve two school journeys or assignments per day (morning and afternoon). Payment will be fixed per job. Become a Passenger Assistant

 Job Type: Part-Time 

Salary: £11.44 per hour 

Expected Hours: 07:30 – 09:00 and 14:30 – 16:00 (Monday – Friday during term time) 

Location: West Midlands
